CREC and Birmingham City University (BCU) work closely together to deliver advanced level academic qualifications for early years professionals at Level 7 and 8. This relationship is underpinned by an Academic Collaboration Agreement (renewed most recently in 2020) and facilitates the delivery of our MA in Education (Early Years) courses as well as the PG Cert in Teaching & Learning along side our own QTS programme for ITT students. CREC staff also jointly supervise a number of BCU PhD candidates and we regularly work closely on research bids.
