CREC colleagues, friends and family were very happy to celebrate Joyce Jacques 100th birthday on November 5th 2024 with a champagne vintage tea party!
CREC colleagues, friends and family were very happy to celebrate Joyce Jacques 100th birthday on November 5th 2024 with a champagne vintage tea party! Joyce, along with John, was a precious and joyful member of the CREC team for many years, offering care, support, nurture, hospitality, delicious treats and plenty of fun to the CREC team and all the many students, colleagues and visitors who came to CREC, as she dashed about with her trolley and hooter! Joyce remains active, well and endlessly curious about us all and what we are up to as she roars into her 100th year! It was wonderful to toast her vitality, energy and joy as she danced through the evening! She is particularly proud and thrilled to have received her birthday letter from the King which now adorns her dresser in pride of place. Her legacy at CREC lives on in many ways and it is a real delight to share our news of this celebration with those who know and love her.
