Developing a partnership with UIN Surakarta, Indonesia

Today CREC hosted a return visit from Irfan Syaifuddin from Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Mas Said Surakarta (UIN Surakarta) Indonesia. Last year, along with colleagues from University of Wolverhampton, Chris & Tony visited Surakarta as part of transnational research project on early years inclusion. During this visit CREC are pleased to have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with UIN Surakarta to explore future research opportunities, and to support Irfan’s latest research by connecting him with several Birmingham Nursery schools to learn more about how they use their outdoor environments effectively.

Thank you to Lillian de Lissa Nursery School, Highfield Nursery School and Shenley Fields Nursery School (all part of Birmingham Federation of Maintained Nursery Schools) for hosting visits and participating in this research.
