Call for papers is now closed
Submit a proposal for presentation at BECERA 2025
We are delighted to invite early years practitioners, researchers, academics and students to submit their research proposals for presentation at the 15th annual BECERA Conference. This year’s conference will focus on “Encouraging Ethical Encounters with Young Children”.
Why submit and present your research at BECERA?
All submitted abstracts are reviewed by our scientific committee which not only screens for the quality of your research but also provides helpful notes to improve abstract writing. Presenting your research is an opportunity for a critical peer review; it is a great way to get necessary feedback to improve, develop or validate your piece of work.
The deadline for proposal submission is 5pm, Friday 13th December 2024. Please note however paper abstracts will be reviewed as and when received and we reserve the right to close the call for papers early if we reach capacity.
Accepted proposals will be clustered into Symposia and delivered during our face-to-face conference in Birmingham on 17th February.
Please note: Abstract submission, or confirmation of your abstract being accepted does not automatically guarantee you a place at the conference, for which you will need to purchase a conference ticket.
Before submitting a proposal
We recommend drafting your abstract in a word editor offline first; this will enable you to check English spelling and grammar and check you are adhering to the 250 word limit (excluding title, headings and keywords).
Use the EECERA abstract (https://shorturl.at/rvDW2) and ethics (https://bit.ly/3GtVun1) guidelines to ensure you are providing all information that is required.
You must respond adequately under each abstract heading, in order for your abstract to be accepted.
