COVID 19 updates
-Monday 30 November-
In light of the latest Government rules for tiers and guidance on continued home based working where possible, and because we know how important a safe environment to learn and interact with your fellow students and tutors is, we are extending online face-to-face delivery of all our scheduled MA sessions until the end of February. All our students will receive further information regarding this via an email update. Please also refer to Moodle for all the latest guidance.
-Tuesday 15 September-
As levels of infection start to rise and national restrictions on meeting of groups have been imposed, we have made the decision that, until the new year (January 2021), all of the taught days on our MA pathways will be held online face-to face rather than physically face-to-face.
-Monday 7th September-
As the new academic year begins, we are writing to assure you all of CREC’s commitment to keeping you safe and well and our excitement about working with you all on a new year of study and professional development.

-Monday 3rd August-
To ensure we follow the government guidelines on social distancing, our spaces for the face-to-face sessions will be set up to accommodate this.
We are therefore capping our successful Master’s applications at 12 per pathway. Whether you are a new or continuing student, we encourage you to enrol ASAP to secure your place on your first choice pathway.
-Tuesday 21st July-
The CREC offices remain closed to visitors through the summer whilst we make preparations to welcome students in September/October. Staff will continue working remotely, however we have reduced our working days to Mon – Thu over the summer, with some colleagues taking annual leave. Therefore, we may take slightly longer than usual to respond to emails. Please do remain connected with CREC via our social media channels on Facebook and Twitter .
-Wednesday 3rd June-
Like all organisations and individuals, we have been facing COVID-related challenges. But ten weeks on, we continue to work for and with our partners, colleagues and students in this new odd reality and here's an overview of our recent activities.
We wish our CREC community good health and positive thoughts as we carry on in these strange times. We would love to hear your news and anecdotes so engage with us via social media or email if you would like to share your experiences.

-Monday 30th March-
Despite currently being unable to host in-person meetings and events at our office and training base in Birmingham, CREC remains open, operational and fully committed to enabling a robust learning and teaching environment for our current and prospective students, trainee teachers, tutors, and wider early years community.
Please find full information regarding the activities and measures we have put in place to date in this dedicated CREC Meetings and Events During Covid-19 post.

-Wednesday 25th March-
Following Monday's additional guidance from the government we have taken the decision to close our office in the interests of staff safety and wider public health concerns regarding non-essential travel. All staff continue to work remotely and can be contacted via the usual email addresses.

-Thursday 19th March-
To look after the welfare of our team and wider society, CREC has taken the decision that all of our staff will work from home from Tuesday 24 March onwards.
All meetings and training days will be scheduled remotely or postponed. Apart from that, our business will continue as usual.
We will keep you up-to-date with the latest information, and we will share any changes here, on the website, and on our social media pages (links below). Current CREC students should use their online learning platform (Moodle) as a first port of call.
In the meantime, we encourage everyone to follow the information and advice available on the Public Health England blog, which is being updated daily.
Stay safe, keep well, wash your hands!
