Free event on participatory research methods

CREC and the ESRC co-organised an event on participatory Research Methods in Early Childhood, part of the Festival of Social Sciences.

This is a seminar for Early Years Practitioner Researchers who want to learn more about participatory research methods. By introducing reliable and manageable qualitative research tools and frameworks to the practitioners our aim is to embed such activity into their work allowing them to record and reflect on their practice and make informed decisions on how best to make improvements to the offer they make to the young children they work with. The presenters will make the seminar as interactive as possible, using examples from the practitioner’s daily working lives and incorporating workshop activities to explore key concepts and ideas. A Q&A plenary session will also allow for engagement.
