ECSDN event: international early learning and child well-being study (IELS)

CREC directors, Professor Chris Pascal and Professor Tony Bertram, are to attend an event next week that will examine the forthcoming OECD International Early Learning and Child Well-Being Study (IELS).

Set up by the Early Childhood Studies Degrees Network (ECSDN) to examine the forthcoming OECD International Early Learning and Child Well-Being Study (IELS), the event will feature various contributors, including the project lead from the DfE, Frances Forsyth, who will give an introduction and background to the IELS, and the national project manager for England from NFER, Rebecca Wheater, who will discuss the methodology for the study.

Professors Chris Pascal and Tony Bertram, from CREC, will deliver a presentation on the challenges of putting together an ethical child outcomes measure at the upcoming event.

There is an open invitation to attend this event, however, places are limited and must be reserved in advance.
