BECERA 2023

Prof. Tony Bertram and Prof. Chris Pascal began our recent BECERA Conference by inviting delegates to consider the complexity of early childhood practice and research, and the different forms of knowledge generation that we can draw upon to deliver the best forms of early education and care. We were also challenged to refocus some of our energies on children’s flourishing, fulfilment and wellbeing.  This was followed by a variety of symposium sets from a range of wonderful researchers from universities and early years settings across the country, which offered discussions around project dissemination and time to connect. The afternoon opened with Dr Jools Page expounding on her deep concept of professional love, by followed by further research symposiums sets. Another successful and energising conference!
